Kris leaving for Northwestern

On Tuesday (June 5), we flew up to consult with Dr. Steven Rosen and his team at Northwestern Medical Center.  Dr. Rosen and the Northwester Oncology Team has a great deal of expertise in treating CTCL.  We flew out early on Tuesday morning and got back late that night

We learned a couple of things regarding treating CTCL from the team at Northwestern:

1.  The BMT group at KU Med are doing a great job of treating Kris.  The Northwestern team concurs with her current treatment.

2.  Based on their experience in treating Transformed CTCL, they’ve learned a lot about what works and what doesn’t work in treatment.

3.  Dr. Rosen and the Northwestern CTCL team have agreed to be part of Kris’ team!

Kris and I are both extremely grateful for all your blog comments and prayers.  Thank you so much for your outpouring of support for Kris and for helping spread the word about registering to be a bone marrow donor.  Ken

For being so sick, you look radiant. Love this blog and appreciate you and Ken doing this to keep us all updated. You are amazing. Just remember God will never give us more than we can handle. You are so strong but please let me and all your friends and family be your stretcher bearers. It is really OK to ask for help. What about letting someone help with scheduling meals, laundry, housecleaning, manicures and pedicures, you name it. You have volunteers waiting to be at your service. All in the name of Christ…when we are allowed to serve, we are blessed even more than you. All my love and support, debbie.
