Kris’ last round of chemo went as expected and she’s still on course to be admitted to the University of Kansas Medical Center on August 10.

One of the reasons Kris has been so public in her fight is to help save as many people as possible and raise awareness of the urgent need for more registered donors in the National Bone Marrow Registry.  There are over 10,000 people just like Kris, who are still searching for a DNA match to save their lives.  Although Kris needs to move forward without a matched adult donor, you can still help her with her mission:

Please don’t stop telling your friends and family about Be The Match.   Please let people know about how a simple cheek swab can save lives.

Thank you all for your continued prayers and encouraging words.  Kris and her entire family appreciates your love and support.

Kris, August 10th is fast approaching. I remembered that as the date you were going to the hospital. I wish you, Ken, kids, family and your medical team the very best of all that can be given. You have reach out to help so many and now it’s your turn. Hugs to you every single day!!!

It was so great to see the family photo out at Twin Lakes. Looks like all were having fun. Just one week to go! How exciting for all of you! Sounds like you have a great team, and I have no doubt this next milestone will bring a resounding success!! Best of luck and much prayers…

We are praying for your next step in this process. We will pray for strength and endurance as you run this race set before you. We pray God’s healing hand over you and wise doctors who are guiding your treatment. We will pray for fun and caring nurses to keep your spirits up. Please let us know if we can help in anyway. Let me know if you need some magazines or ice cream. I only work a few blocks from there so I’d love to come and see you sometime if that’s allowed! God bless you all!
